Love this idea/way for fish camp!!!!!!!!!!
It really is a great one
Why are all the you tube videos on inline weight for slow trolling, none for trolling 3mph with bandits, thundersticks, reef runners ....
My opinion would be that those systems are better for slow fishing. When you go 3mph you make a 2 or 3 oz Wright a top water. When fishing faster check out our summer videos on dipsys and leadcore fishing. Better delivery systems if you are fishing fast. 3mph is pretty fast for cranks too....get past 2.6 and things change imo
@@Bigwaterfishing ok thanks for response, i run inline weights all the time with good results, i dislike dipsey because of trippimg issues and they always get tangled for us. i have used lead, but my preference is the inline weight, gives the lures a bit of a different action, more aggressive wobble which usually works better for me. I usually use about a rod length leader
Obviously he knows what he's doing . It's actually the best time of year to Fish 🏆🎣
A coat in july?
U need to get up earlier...smirk. it's 60 degrees this morning

what size spoon is that??
Standard silver streak
Looks like they copied the Salmo freediver
Will the local shops around CLE get these in stock come fall? I’ve been blueballed…
If they order them...lol. fishusa will have them for sure
When is it going on the market ??? Anyone know 🤔

@@kevinmalott9625 I really don't see where it's much different than the Bill Lewis Precision Walleye crank ... Do you 🤔
I’m new to line counters and I’m so confused lol
Great tip!...and I gotta get a Bigwater Pro Team T!
Thanks check out the site for merch
What using for your diver rods?
Sam is absolutely the best dude out there.. real deal to the bone
I went out to Montana this mid-June and it had just dropped 8 inches of snow and it was 80 degrees the day before so I had to bring all my cold weather gear and my warm weather gear so I wore it all through check in and TSA with big boots leaving out of Columbus at 4am sweating to death then shoved it all in a personal item float bag to once I got in haha
Why do many go with Leadcore over Dipseys? Almost seems like Dipseys would be less of a hassle, less line to reel back in and achieve the same depths. Thanks!
Totally different presentation and way ot works the lure... and way to get more lines out and coverage away from boat
I was visiting my Aunt Dimo in Minnewauken 55 years ago. You could not see Devils Lake from there at that time.
Alot has changed for sure
Great video
Glad u liked it
Take care of you skin people
I have been doing this for about 10-15 years to the hi-vis braid I use when fishing for salmon in Alaska.
We’ve been doing good on flicker 7s with the lead core. The best thing about this video that they don’t talk about is the trolling motor steering the boat. Game changer
Then quest ulterra is like having a extra person on board
@@Bigwaterfishing that’s seriously so nice not having to steer while reeling in the fish .. maybe one day
We just visited there. Stayed at the casino (great eats at The View). Wish I'd known about the underwater stuff. Might have scheduled a boat trip to check it out...
Always next time!!!
@@Bigwaterfishing Took 4 airports to get there; Jax-Atl-Mpls-Grand Forks. Rental car to Maddock. Visited sites where my Norway people came to homestead in 1888. I hope to return!

$3.39 a gallon!! It's $1.69 a litre here in Ontario we are getting hosed.
We all are....but certain politics make.it even worse
All these high prices really hurt us working stiff who just want to fish but can't afford sh#t.
This is something to definitely consider over lugging giant reels with 10+ colors on it 😂
Ross you are the best
Again, a great video with all the details trollers want to know. Now you're teaching!
Can do without the rap crap...just sayin
Each to their own
Excellent breakdown! Thanks!!

keep up the good work. fall winter eyes coming and they are going to be mean.
You did not! Hawk Tuah
Wow....smirk
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great vid & info to add to our toolbox. Thx Capt.
Glad you liked it
Do you recommend using a snap swivel at the lure end of the leader when using a Dipsy?
Nope
@@Bigwaterfishing So, just a snap at each end of the leader?
@Moondog9322 yes sir Check out our dipsy rigging video
😂😄😆
Good details. Lots of information. Good video, Ross.
Glad it was helpful!
Fellow Lake Erie dwellers, nice catch 🤘
Thanks! 👍
How long are your diver leads. Thanks
all were different and changed hourly...gotta move them around
@Bigwaterfishing lol Sorry, I meant the lead from Diver to bait
@@john-re8gy 6 to 8 on spoons....longer on spinners or cranks at times
@Bigwaterfishing thanks man I fish out of Long Point nice fish right now
Finally ! There good to see yah again bud great summer upload new baits lookin $ !
More to come!
Are your inter-line dipsy rods still available? If so what brand and model. Thanks.
stay tuned on that one
@@BigwaterfishingOK appreciate it.. I used them on Lake Ontario 20+ years ago, loved them!
I would also like to know where you got them. I have the old cabelas models and haven't been able to find them since.
@@connordayton8926 stay tuned
@@Bigwaterfishing any update on these rods?
4:15 "a little slow on the camera" hahahha Capt Ross not letting anyone slip an inch.. lol
if we slipping...we tripping....lol
What type of rods are you using for your dipsy divers?
Stay tuned on that one
Boat control and forward sonar, why not just cast to fish
Fishing techniques are like mechanics tools...you.use them all...and I do
4 year old Interstate starting battery, (2) Interstate trolling motor batteries also 4 years old. Going lithium when they give it up. New technology looks great.
2 AGMs (2019), 5 years old 3 lithiums for electric trolling motor (2022) 2 years old
Okay, thanks for the info. I’m going to run both tomorrow in Port Burwell and see how they perform.
Was there on Sunday for the first time ever. How did you make out using the smaller baits, I only caught 2 on deep bandits and one on a reef runner 900
We caught 18 walleye in 2 1/2hrs. 57-59 ft. Leadcore, dipseys, and downriggers all caught fish using small spoons no colour preference.
Thanks for all the details of how to. Cap. now that we are into summer, what is your opinion on fizzing walleye that need to be released?
Fish in that warm water, especially as deep as almost of them are flat out dead released or not. Why we keep then this time of yr.
@@Bigwaterfishing thanks 👍
Do you ever use inline weights with your lures like thunder sticks
Almost never
Any special knots you need with leadcore?
We have a video dropping Tuesday that shows exactly how we rig up the leadcore
@@BigwaterfishingCan’t wait for that one!
?? Have you tried using the brown scented Berkley Power worms on your worm harnesses?
My experience is the Catch rate significantly drops without the real stuff with what is currently available on the market

It's 450....b teams thermostat in oven is a little off. He says it needs higher heat to get crispy
